Gambella Fistual Project

I was born and raised in Ethiopia. A beautiful country in East Africa high on a plateau. It is my home and my heart visits there often.

My Aunt Dorothy Russell Hanson, a retired nurse, is working in Addis Ababa with HIV and AIDS.  She told me about 28 women in Gambella that have been suffering for over 3 years with obstetric fistulas.

She has been putting aside any extra money that comes in for a FREEDOM TRAIN, transportation, to get these women to Metu. Once there, they just have to walk in the door and they will be cared for.

Since we began, we’ve found there are over 100 women in Gambella with Fistula.
