Words have there own melody. They want to dip or slide or be blunt and bold.
A good lyric is like pure pure gold. Sometimes the lyrics to my songs come from the inspiration of someone else’s words.
Often, I’ll be sitting at the piano and I’ll hear a melody with a lyric that makes me cry. That is the moment of pure bliss. I know right away that this song will open hearts.
When I’m learning something spiritually and it hasn’t fully been fully embodied yet, I like to write a song about it, so that I’ll really know it in my belly, my mind and all parts of me.
I am worthy of my own love, was one of those lessons that I’m still learning.
