Ethiopian Street Boys College Fund
My Aunt Dorothy lives and works in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, where I was born and raised. She is an extra-ordinary woman. She loves God and loves the people of Ethiopia.
Her family of streets boys have done everything they could to get an education.
Here’s what she has to say.
“Living and working in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, I am surrounded by need – shall I give to the beggars, the school children, or the widows? God graciously sent me 12 street boys over several years. Already a family unit, most are orphans, all are survivors. I love them and they love me in return. We celebrate over food on special occasions. They seldom ASK for anything. Three graduated from high school (all over 20 years of age) and all are headed for college! Together we created a budget for them to get what they need to flourish and thrive, so that others can follow. Bless the boys and bless me! Thank you!” -Dorothy Russell Hanson
Thank you so much for helping me and my Aunt Dorothy send these young men financial support. It means a lot to me. Ethiopia is my home and very close to my heart.
